Medicine Buddha Empowerment

(Arrive by 1:45 p.m.)
The Medicine Buddha Empowerment is considered to be the most powerful blessing for healing both body and mind. The Refuge Vow is required and will be offered prior to the Empowerment.
The cost is $25 general ($20 KDC members). It is also customary to make a donation to the empowering Lama.
Medicine Buddha Teaching and Practice
Sunday, August 30, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
(Arrive by 8:45 a.m.)
The Medicine Buddha practice has the ability to heal physical and mental suffering and illnesses and can be done for the benefit of oneself and others. Participants must have received the Empowerment.
The cost is $30 general ($25 KDC members).
The Pecha (practice text) is $10.
You are welcome to bring a lunch and stay during the break.

Please note: For the benefit of all participants, the KDC Shrine Room is a fragrance-free zone. Due to many people’s allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products or wearing clothing that may have lingering scents of scented products on them.

- Cologne & after-shave
- Hand & body lotion
- Scented bath soaps & gels
